Employee Engagement

RESEARCH SHOWS THAT ENGAGED EMPLOYEES ARE HAPPIER AND MORE PRODUCTIVE.

Fundraising at work is about having fun and it’s not only a great way to build team spirit and get people involved

but it also gives your employees the chance to make a real difference in the community

“Culture and engagement is the most important issue companies face around the world. 87% of organisations cite culture and engagement as one of their top challenges. Organisations that create a culture defined by meaningful work, deep employee engagement ….. are outperforming their peers and will likely beat their competition in attracting top talent.” (Deloitte Human Capital Trends 2015 report.)

“88% of Milennials say their job is more fulfilling when they are provided with opportunities to make a positive impact

on social and environmental issues.” (2016 Cone Communications Millennial Employee Engagement Study)

CADDT can work with companies to facilitate and encourage employee engagement in a variety of ways.

VOLUNTEERING

CADDT is always looking for additional volunteers to support their activities and events.  Your employees will have skills that can be shared with

our service users, or put to use to assist the day to day running of the charity.  From general maintenance work to Admin, environmental

projects or activities with young people, there is something for everyone to get invoved with.

FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES

We can work together in developing exciting employee fundraising initiatives, activities and challenges that will engage and motivate your staff.

MATCH FUNDING

Our Corporate partners can match employee donations and money raised through fundraising activities so CADDT will receive double the support.

Match Funding can demonstrate a company’s support and commitment to causes their employees care about.

PAYROLL GIVING

Payroll Giving is a HMRC scheme that allows employees to make simple, tax-effective donations to any UK charity or good cause. If you pay your employees through PAYE (as most UK companies do), you can set up a Payroll Giving scheme. Donations are deducted from gross pay – before tax is deducted - giving immediate tax relief on donations and of course it means it costs less for your employees to donate.

Payroll Giving (also known as Give As You Earn or Workplace Giving) is a valuable, long term source of revenue, providing regular income

to help charities budget and plan ahead more effectively. Employees can choose to support any charity of their choice with a regular donation direct from their pay.

Register with a Payroll Giving agency to set up a scheme. They’ll let you know how to make deductions.
